Seventh grade students were challenged to work collaboratively to program their Spheros through an obstacle course.

Robotics is for EVERYONE here at GMS. Check out this modification for a student with vision impairment: puff paint was used to make raised versions of the Botley coding cards, and to create a board to plan out the program. Coding cards are then secured to the board with velcro dots, and Braille numbers at the top of each square keep the code organized and allow students to better identify where bugs in the code might be located. The puzzle pieces that Botley moves on help to give both visual (bright colors) and tactile cues to determine where Botley needs to go and plan out the program!
