And Parrots! © tales to The Joshua Center Camp; "Joshua Center for Neurological Disorders, a vital resource for both children and adults who live with Tourette Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, ADHD and other associated neurological disorders." - Held yearly at the Rotary Camp at Lake Jacomo.

It's taken years of training. But if Captain can lift his 2-lb butt in the air, I figured he'd be able to push the mower around the yard. And he Works for peanuts. 🥜 Beats a robo mower.

Captain met and re-met several crewmembers on our hike today. One mom shared her video from meeting us Last summer. The dad of the 3 girls was wearing a t-shirt from perhaps our favorite meal in Hawaii, Hawaiian BBQ, owned by a guy who grew up in KC. Uncle D's BBQ & Disk Golf supplies (an obvious combination. 😉 ) (Their pix in first Comment [stupid FB] And Leigh Alen's g daughter who drove up on her new bike (wearing her helmet) throwing me a moment as she rode up and stopped saying, "Hi Captain Flint!" (So Formal! 😉)

Captain had a great time this week telling Rainforest-theme stories to a VBS in Gardner. They had created an Inspiring rainforest environment. THANKS Debbie Gibson Evans for inviting and sponsoring us! The kids had great questions!

Skallywags are always asking what Captain Flint can say. As you can see, Captain speaks four languages.
He's struggling with Canada Goose and Crow. When we're taking our daily hikes, in the winter, if a flock of geese fly over, typically honking, Captain will usually call up to them his greeting as best as he can; "Quack-quack-quack."
Then a few weeks ago while hiking, quietly, he started quacking, several times. I realized that nearby, a Crow was calling. Captain was calling, "Hi". (Play video in first Comment, volume up to also hear crow. )

How does one measure success as a pirate? - She was a skilled pirate, a true leader (in taking on the attacking ship while her male crew was drunk and worthless) and she escaped, retired from piracy, and lived well into her 80's. By all of those measures, we'd say she was arguably The most successful pirate! ☠️ 🦜

Anne Bonny: perhaps the most elusive pirate of them all. Captured in the 1720s, she claimed pregnancy to avoid the gallows. Some say she returned to the sea and lived until 1782. What do you think?
