Parents As Teachers can help.Our mission: To provide the Parents support and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life. Parents as Teachers (PAT) is a FREE fun early learning Program for soon to be parents and parents with children ages birth to 3. We serve families in Gardner-Edgerton School District USD 231.

In just ten minutes, you and your child can play the Sock Match game.

Take pairs of adult and/or kids socks and mix them all up in a bag/basket and dump them out on the floor and see how long it takes to match all the socks back together. You could also use shoes. It can also be fun to dump them in to a dry bathtub and have your child get inside the bathtub to match. This could be a fun way to transition to bath time. "First, play the sock match game, then take a bath."
