The Playhouse is a fully licensed, moderately structured program established in 1983. We offer full and part time child care and an age appropriate morning preschool program for children ages 2-5 years. In each classroom we provide a developmentally appropriate experience of social and academic skills through creative, hands-on activities. Weekly themes as well as the alphabet and numbers are expl
ored through learning centers such as dramatic play, sensory tables, manipulatives, and musical experiences. Our program provides a nutritional morning snack, a well balanced hot or cold lunch, and an afternoon snack. We welcome and encourage parent involvement. We enjoy maintaining a close relationship with our families so we can work together to achieve individual goals for each child. We also encourage outdoor play to advance social and large motor skills, and our year-round play area has been recently renovated. We strive to provide each child with a loving, caring, and nurturing, in-home environment with a well structured, creative, and educational atmosphere focusing on each child’s individual needs, abilities, and goals.
