🍂🏆 **GRMS FALL SPORTS PARENT MEETING** 🏆🍂

Fall sports are almost here! 🐯🧡🖤

📅 **Monday, August 31**
⏰ **6:00 PM**
📍 **GRMS Gym**

All families and student-athletes participating in fall sports are encouraged to attend. We’ll begin together with a review of school athletic policies and expectations, then break out into individual teams to meet coaches and go over **tryout schedules and team-specific information**.

**A few important reminders about team selection:**

* Coaches will determine roster sizes prior to the start of the season.
* **7th and 8th graders receive priority** for available roster spots.
* **6th graders are welcome to try out** and may be placed on a team if there are not enough 7th and 8th graders to fill the available roster spots.
* No 7th or 8th grader will be cut to make room for a 6th grader.
* If the number of 7th and 8th graders exceeds available roster spots, cuts may be necessary.
* 7th and 8th graders may be placed on either JV or Varsity based on tryouts and coach determination.
* 6th graders may **not** play on a varsity team in sports that have both JV and Varsity squads.
