He was just 5 years old when he started lessons with us. 🥹🎶

Now he’s almost 12.

One of my favorite things about Musicality has nothing to do with how many songs a student learns or how much their skills improve.

It’s getting to watch them grow up.

We get to see the little kid who walked through our doors become more confident, more capable, more themselves year after year.

Seven years of music, milestones, growing, and getting to be a tiny part of his story.

That’s pretty special. 💛

THIS is what we want our acting students to walk away with. 🎭

One of our parents sent me this after her daughter recently had an audition:

“She called me squealing afterwards because she said they went so well. She said in her monologue the director laughed, so she loved getting some emotion out of her! I was so proud of her for choosing to do that! She’s learned so much! She adores Mrs. Chelsea. It’s all the information she was just craving to learn. She even knew how to dress for an audition, and that helped her feel so confident.”

Acting class isn’t just about getting on stage and having fun. Our students are learning the craft and skills of acting: how to prepare for an audition, work a monologue, make intentional choices, connect with an audience, and walk into the room with confidence.

And getting that laugh from the director? That’s a student realizing, I made a choice, and it worked. 🙌🎭

We LOVE seeing them take what they’re learning in class and use it in the real world!

🎃👻 Halloween Week is coming to Musicality! 👻🎃

Hey Students! You are invited to wear your Halloween costumes to class during Halloween week! We can’t wait to see everyone’s creativity and have some extra fun in class. 🧡

But there’s a special challenge… 👀✨

🏆 MUSICALITY HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST! 🏆

We want to see your most creative music, drama, or art-inspired costume! 🎶🎭🎨

Think outside the box and get creative! Your costume could be inspired by:
🎤 A favorite musician or musical character
🎭 A drama or theater character
🎨 A famous artist or work of art
🎶 Something from the world of music
✨ Or anything else creative and artsy!

📸 Be sure to have your picture taken at the studio while wearing your costume! We’ll share the photos for everyone to vote on their favorites!
