Another successful Enrichment Friday is in the books! Students learned how to grind wheat, make sourdough bread, can items, shell black-eyed peas, make thread from cotton, make cheese, and planted their choice of vegetation. It was a GREAT day!

IT’S THE SPARTAN OF THE MONTH!

Every month, GCA looks for a student who exemplifies the Spartan Statutes that we recite daily in chapel service.

The September Spartan of the Month is Barrett!

Barrett was nominated for his patience, diligence, responsibility, and obedience. He listens well, shows kindness to others, responds to authority with a happy heart, and works hard all the way to the end.

He may be just a little guy, but he is MIGHTY in character!

Thanks to Waters Snacks & More- Gardendale for partnering with us again this year to reward our Spartans for excellent achievement!

We don’t always have school on Fridays at GCA, but when we do, it’s all about enrichment!
Last Friday was Culinary Friday.
After prayer and corporate worship,
students prepared, cooked, ate, and cleaned up breakfast and lunch!
It was also an excellent lesson in table manners and service to one another.
What a great day!
Those smiles and full bellies say it all👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳
