Finding a way…
It is always important to take the time to recognize and celebrate the milestones in life. Today we want to congratulate our 6th Grade students. Teachers and staff came together for a “Peters 4-6 Drive-Through Promotion Ceremony” to honor the fact that our students are moving on to middle school.
Students, we are all so proud of you and look forward to hearing about all of your wonderful accomplishments in the future. And as your lives take you in different directions, always remember you started here at Peters. You will always be Panthers to us!

Even though we may all be sheltered apart, it is ever so important to remember we all belong to the greater Peters 4-6 community. The heart and soul of our educational purpose lie in the relationships we have with students, staff, and each other.
So today, even though we could not have our annual Administrative Professionals celebration, the Peter 4-6 community didn’t let that stop them! They brought the parade to our beloved School Secretary, Ms. Shannon.
Happy Administrative Professionals Day, Shannon! You are the lifeblood of this community

Continuing with our blast to the past, our 5th grade classes took a trip to Riley’s Farm in Oak Glen, California to learn about life in the British colonies in the late 1700’s. Students learned about manners, writing with a quill and ink, and typical games children played in that era. Students also got to experience what a trial in front of a colonial judge might have been like minus the protections spelled out in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Eureka!!! Field trips are a great way to help teach about the past and make history come alive. Recently, our 4th grade classes took a field trip to Knott’s Berry Farm in which they got to learn about California during the Gold Rush of the 1840s. They even got to “be” miners and pan for gold. (It’s not as easy as it looks!)
Reminder: Spring conference sign-ups are available through Parent Square. Please check Parent Square to sign up. If you need any assistance our office staff is available to answer questions and help you schedule. Thank you.

Feeling the love! Peter’s 4-6 parents took a moment to write reasons why they love their child. The Student Council then took hundreds of these hearts and made a wonderful display in our MPR. This reminds us all to take a moment and think of all the reasons why the people we care about are important to us.
