Garden Grove Adult Education

Classes begin Monday for all students who are either returning to campus or who completed Onboarding last week! Check the posted list for your classroom and teacher if you cannot remember where to go. We can’t wait to see you!

Today was TOSA Big Picture Day for GGUSD, a big kick-off for our important army of TOSAs everywhere. Our very own Alisa Takeuchi and Ray Hernandez were part of the day’s work with our director, Dr. Avina. We were also joined by two CTE TOSAs who are teaching at GGAE this fall!

Our GGAE teachers meet to prepare for the new school year. Can’t wait to greet our new students on Monday!

Our first GGAE Onboarding classes of the year started this morning for students who have already registered, participated in orientation, and had their first pre-test. TOSAs Alisa Takeuchi and Ray Hernandez lead each class before students move to their regular classes on Monday.

We are thrilled to announce that Sydney Chang is joining the Garden Grove Adult School team! Sydney has been part of GGUSD for many years, most recently at La Quinta HS. As part of our data team, Sydney will be responsible for keeping our reporting accurate and current. Please welcome her to the family!

We are so happy to welcome Jenny Campos as our new counselor! Jenny has a strong background in alternative pathways to high school diploma completion, career technical education, and college success. She will be supporting both the Adult School and the Virtual Learning Academy starting at the end of this week. Please welcome her to the family!
