Help your child build social–emotional skills as you get ready to go back to school with our Relationship Builders “Taking Turns” activity!

By taking turns, children learn to take turns, practice patience, and build social skills.

Teach them by showing them how you do it. Whether you are choosing a bedtime story or sharing a snack, talk to them about cooperation and fairness.

The park is also a great place to practice. Talk about taking turns on a swing or slide, playing with a toy, or choosing the book for bedtime.

🩷Love in Action: Building Stronger Communities Together💪

At Padres Unidos, we believe that strong communities are built by empowered leaders.

In partnership with Santiago Canyon College Extended Education, Community Programs 29 dedicated parents and community leaders are taking the next step in their journey through our Community Worker Certificate Program. Our current summer course focuses on Crisis Intervention, equipping participants with practical skills to support individuals and families during times of need.

These incredible leaders are working toward completing the first year of our two-year Community Worker Certificate, strengthening their knowledge, nurturing their gifts, and growing as advocates for their families and communities.

Together, we are creating lasting change one leader, one family, and one community at a time.

En Padres Unidos creemos que las comunidades fuertes se construyen con líderes preparados y comprometidos.

En colaboración con Santiago Canyon College colegio de educacion extendida padres, madres y líderes comunitarios continúan avanzando en nuestro Programa del Certificado de Trabajador Comunitario. El curso de verano está enfocado en Intervención en Crisis, brindando herramientas y estrategias para apoyar a personas y familias en momentos dificiles.

Estos extraordinarios líderes están trabajando para completar el primer año de nuestro programa de dos años fortaleciendo sus conocimientos, desarrollando sus talentos y preparándose para ser defensores y agentes de cambio en sus familias y comunidades.

Juntos seguimos transformando vidas, fortaleciendo familias y construyendo comunidades más saludables.
