It’s a STEAM Summer at Elementary - Masterpieces were created using the Monart process:
1. Observe the picture.
2. Identify the 5 basic elements of shape - dot, circle, straight line, curved line, angle line.
3. Draw 1 element at a time.
4. Refine and connect the shapes.
5. Add texture, value and color.
6. Reflect and celebrate!!
Artists range from 4 to 10 years old.

Our toddler artists have been exploring the wonders of the ocean! 🐙💙 As part of our Sea Life Unit, they created colorful octopus masterpieces while strengthening their fine motor skills and exhibiting self-expression.

Elementary STEAM Camp
Our week-long exploration of space included watching a live space launch and concluded with a delicious lesson in culinary science. The students made "Moon Bread," shaping each one to include craters, inspired by the moon's surface. The best part? Sampling their space-inspired creations, discovering science can be tasty!

Our Early Childhood and TK/Kindergarten students enjoyed an interactive Keeping Kids Safe presentation, while our 1st–6th grade students explored the importance of Internet Safety. The presentations were engaging and informative, and our students’ asked thoughtful questions.
We are grateful to GGPD for partnering with us to help empower our students with the knowledge and confidence to stay safe both in our community and online. Thank you for making a positive impact!

Our Early Childhood students wrapped up an exciting week of learning during our Community Helpers Unit! They enjoyed a trip to the grocery store for a behind-the-scenes tour and a healthy snack, then welcomed the team from Lollipop Dental for a fun, hands-on lesson about caring for their teeth.

Real-world experiences make learning meaningful, memorable, and fun! At MGH, experiential learning helps children build knowledge, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

MGH proudly celebrates our graduating 6th graders and their families. This year, we are especially honored to recognize the Loving family, a second-generation MGH family with an incredible 27 collective years at MGH. Their unwavering support reflects their deep belief in the Montessori philosophy and the dedicated staff who help make MGH such a special community.
