Our talented 7th-grade students wrote their own original poems to celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. 🐾🕊️ Let’s take a moment to listen to Gabriel read his beautiful poem about how deeply animals are loved. ✨

🐾🕊️ Blessing of the Animals 🕊️🐾

As we prepare to celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi on October 4th, we gathered as a school community to celebrate his deep love for God’s beautiful creation and all creatures, great and small. 💚

Our Blessing of the Animals brought together an amazing variety of beloved pets from spiders 🕷️, birds 🐦, turtles 🐢, and bearded dragons 🦎 to kittens 🐱, cats 🐈, dogs 🐶, fish 🐠, hamsters 🐹, and so many more! Each one is a special reminder of the beauty and wonder of creation.

A special thank you to our 7th graders and 1st graders for their wonderful presentation, and to Ms. Susank for leading this beautiful celebration.

We are so grateful for all the joy, love, and companionship our pets bring into our lives. ❤️🐾

St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us and all of God’s creatures! 🙏🌎🐾

🙏✨ Happy Priesthood Sunday!

Today, we give thanks to God for the gift of our priests and for their faithful “yes” to His call. We are especially grateful for Fr. Ian, our chaplain, and Fr. Bao, the rector of Christ Cathedral. Thank you for shepherding us in faith, bringing us closer to Christ, and serving our school community with love and humility.

May God continue to bless and strengthen you as you lead us closer to Him. ❤️‍🔥✝️
