Spirit Week Recap with Bridges to Adelphi and the Learning Resource Program! 🐾💛
Sean Culkin ’17, MS ’22, gained confidence and embraced his neurodiversity through Adelphi’s Bridges to Adelphi program, inspiring his career in accessibility and inclusion. After graduating, he joined KultureCity, a nonprofit supporting people with invisible disabilities, where he serves as partnerships manager, helping schools, hospitals, sports venues and major public events become more accessible. Adelphi recognized Culkin as one of its 10 Under 10 honorees for turning his experiences into advocacy and creating a more inclusive world for neurodivergent individuals! 🌈👏
During our Alumni Panel, we were fortunate to welcome Sammi Capozzi ’16, a former student of the Learning Resource Program, and Nicholas Troiano ’21 and Declan Carey ’23 from Bridges to Adelphi! Questions were asked about what drew them to their respective programs, their journeys into the professional world, and how their experiences at Adelphi helped shape their paths after graduation.
