Dear Parents/Guardians,
USD 457 utilizes an app called My Ride K-12 to help families stay informed about their student’s transportation.
With the My Ride K-12 app, you can:
• Monitor your student’s bus location.
• Receive alerts when your student scans on the bus.
• Receive alerts when your student scans off the bus.
• Have greater peace of mind knowing where your student is during their bus ride.
To help you get started, we have attached step-by-step instructions in both English and Spanish. These instructions will walk you through downloading the app and setting up your account.
We encourage all families who utilize district transportation to download and use the My Ride K-12 app.

As you head out each day, remember:

🚌 Stop for school buses when required.
📵 Put your phone away and stay alert.
🚶 Watch for students at crosswalks and intersections.

A few extra seconds of caution can make all the difference.
