This is my last full week with this great group of kids, and my last day with some. I hope they know how much they mean to me and that they have helped me learn and grow as much as I have helped them. You guys will always be a big part of my life. Thank you to the parents for sharing your precious gifts with me, and for all the support throughout this chapter I know it has been a crazy journey at times, also thank you for all the gifts you guys are truly the best.

Today hits a little differently. đź’›

After 10 amazing, exhausting, beautiful, chaotic, rewarding years of owning my home daycare, this will be my last Provider Appreciation Day in the childcare field.

What started as a dream became a second home for so many little ones. I’ve had the privilege of watching babies take first steps, hearing first words, wiping tears, celebrating milestones, and loving so many children as if they were my own. The families who trusted me with their babies over the years have become part of my family and will always hold a special place in my heart.

Over the years, we’ve made lifelong friendships, watched families come and go, and even had families grow and extend their families while still being part of Little Stars. We’ve shared so many laughs, celebrations, milestones, and unforgettable memories together. There have been countless fun times that I’ll cherish forever.

This job was never “just babysitting.” It was long days, sleepless nights, endless cleaning, lesson plans, snack times, hugs, bandaids, laughter, and a whole lot of love. It shaped me in more ways than I can explain.

Leaving this chapter is bittersweet. While I’m excited for what’s next, it’s hard to say goodbye to something that has been such a huge part of my life for a decade.

To every child, parent, and family who supported Little Stars through the years — thank you. Thank you for the memories, the trust, the laughs, and the love. I will carry all of it with me forever. ✨
