The Reuseum

Mike surprised us today with a donation from the Meridian Optimist Club to help pay for some ductwork to get our recycling equipment back up and running. Proceeds from our recycling program help us develop STEM classes for kids. Thank you, Meridian Optimist Club members, for your generous donation!

The Reuseum was excited to be part of the Project Green class for Treasure Valley Educators last week, presenting about our electronics and metals recycling efforts in the Treasure Valley. We also learned from Catherine Milner from Boise City Curb It, Bridget Morrisroe from U of I Extension Office, Mike Murgoitio from TimberCreek Recycling, and Rebecca Weeks from Ada County Landfill.

We’re taking the day to celebrate freedom, fireworks, family and friends. Have a safe and wonderful 4th of July celebration. We will be open on Monday, July 6th at 10:00 am.

More space, bigger items! The back room is now open. Come say hi and check it out.

The Reuseum is grateful for a generous donation from the Boise Sunrise Rotary Club. We are excited to use it as we put our classroom together in our new space. Check out our calendar for some classes coming in July and August.

The Reuseum has wonderful friends, and we wanted to highlight some special friends from the past two weeks: parents helping at a school STEM event, HP volunteers putting together piano kits and kaleidoscope kits, and Mountain West Bank for a donation to support STEM workshops. For our customers who share ideas with each other, volunteers who support STEM workshops, and our friends who jump in with ideas, muscles, laughs, and expertise, WE THANK YOU!

At The Reuseum, we are dedicated to fostering an environmentally conscious community by promoting electronics recycling and providing interactive learning experiences for the next generation of innovators. --$30 covers the cost for a student to attend a soldering or robotics class, giving them the skills to build and understand the tech of the future.

--$100 provides Bristlebots for an entire class of 25 students, bringing a hands-on STEM experience directly into a local classroom.
