The Pre-Physical Therapy track is for students who are interested in applying exercise science to careers including, but not limited to, physical therapy, physician assistant, nutrition, and nursing. This program is designed so the student may fulfill prerequisite courses necessary for application to professional school programs, while studying exercise science. The graduate program is designed to prepare students to work with a wide variety of populations including high level and recreational athletes as well as people who are diagnosed with cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, orthopedic and metabolic problems. Graduates of the Exercise Science Program go on to careers in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Personal Training and Strength and Conditioning. Some pursue doctoral degrees in Allied Health, Medical School, and Exercise Physiology.
