The New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) is urging families to 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗜𝗡 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗕𝗧 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟱 due to reports of benefit theft in other states.

Protect your child's benefits by updating your PIN:

When choosing a new PIN:
✔️ Make it unique and difficult to guess
✔️ Keep it private
❌ Don't use repeated or consecutive numbers like 2222 or 1234
❌ Don't write your PIN on your card

For added protection, consider freezing your card between purchases and changing your PIN regularly.

June is a time to celebrate kindness, inclusion, and the importance of creating welcoming school communities where every student feels seen, valued, and supported.

✨ Sneak Peek of the Highlights of the 2026 Spring Conference Dinner & Expo ✨
Last night was one for the books! A huge thank you to the dedicated volunteers and Nassau Region PTA board members whose leadership, time, and heart made the 2026 Spring Conference Dinner & Expo a true success. This night does not happen without you.

If you were on the fence about attending this year—trust us, you won’t want to miss it next year. With 50+ vendors and nearly 200 attendees, we came together for a carnival‑style ride through PTA, celebrating the incredible work of the 317 PTA units across Nassau Region and Queens counties and the powerful collective voice we have for all children.

Guided by our mission—to advocate for every child, empower families, and strengthen school communities—the evening was filled with reflection, celebration, connection, and inspiration. And let’s be honest… almost everyone walked away feeling inspired and more than likely a raffle winner! 🎟️✨

Grateful. Energized. Ready to keep the work going—for every child, with every voice. 💙
