A very proud day for Gertrude Walker this morning after the State Robotics Tournament in Wichita. It is a huge accomplishment to qualify for state competition. Both teams represented GW well, ranking in the top 12 out of 32 teams, with one team going to the finals. The finals team took 4th place and was only 4 points away from 2nd. They also took home the Sportsmanship Award for how they worked together, worked with other teams, and showed positive attitudes during the tournament. Congratulations!
