Good morning, retirees! The 2025 Conference Planning Committee from Northwest District has an exciting Retiree Event planned for this year!

The event will be on Tuesday, August 26 from 12-3pm. The day will begin with lunch at noon at the Brown Dog Eatery (pay your own way) followed by a short walk (or drive) over to the Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum for a 1:30 tour! You'll wrap up with enough time to join the rest of the conference attendees for the welcome event on Tuesday evening if you so choose. We hope to see you there!

To reserve your spot, call the Carroll County Extension office by Friday, August 8 to pay your museum fee of $6.

We had a wonderful and educational SED FACS Update today. Our friend and former DED, Janet Clanton Hollingsworth hosted us in her beautiful home. We had an opportunity to tour her sister’s hydroponic lettuce operation, and we enjoyed having Arch Smith with us for lunch! Thanks for arranging the great training Lisa D. Jordan!
