Carman Road primary and elementary students lit up the stage on Friday, March 6, at their annual Spring Show.

This year’s show, “Go for the Gold,” was inspired by the upcoming World Cup and showcased students playing along with songs heard in stadiums during World Cup games. Under the direction of music teacher, Julie Scala, students and audience members participated in many soccer traditions: a beautiful performance of our national anthem, an audience "wave" that circled around the room and a beach ball toss around the auditorium between performances to keep the momentum going!

Congratulations to all of the performers, and thank you to our administrators and staff for their steadfast support.

With over 20 years of experience spanning education, corporate leadership, and entrepreneurship, she specializes in actionable leadership strategies that create lasting impact.

The group experienced a great day of reflection, collaboration and growth alongside leaders from across Long Island.

Preschool at Barry Tech students recently celebrated completing the first 100 days of school. The students had so much fun dressing up as 100-year-olds and parading through the building. Barry Tech high school students and staff helped to cheer these littlest students on as they celebrated being 100 days smarter.
