Honey’s low moisture and naturally acidic environment make it difficult for many microorganisms to grow, helping it stay preserved for a very long time.

🐝 And here’s another fun fact for your little learner: honeybees visit flowers to collect nectar, then work together inside the hive to turn it into honey!
