Our campus has been busy this summer! From fresh paint and resealed parking lots to refreshed floors, updated bus loop spaces, and more, our schools are looking great and ready for the upcoming school year.

A huge thank you to our Operations & Maintenance and our Grounds staff for all their hard work keeping our campus clean, safe, and welcoming for our students and staff. We appreciate all that you do!

This is an opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, learn more about the program, and have your questions answered before the school year begins.

Please note: This is an informational evening for parents/guardians only. Pre-K and Kindergarten students and their families will also have an opportunity to meet their teacher during the schoolwide walkthrough on Tuesday, September 8, from 2:00-4:30 PM.

Please complete the transportation survey linked below for EACH child enrolled at Galway CSD in grades PreK to 12, even if transportation is not needed. This survey must be completed by a Parent or Guardian.

If any transportation changes need to be made, please notify the transportation office at least one week prior in writing at [email protected]. If the change is for an emergency, you may reach out to transportation at 518-882-1077.

This transportation survey is only good for the 2026-27 school year.

We're incredibly proud to share that Mary "Crissy" Ogden has been named the 2026 New York State School Bus Driver Instructor (SBDI) of the Year!

Presented by the Pupil Transportation Safety Institute and the New York Association for Pupil Transportation (NYAPT), this statewide award recognizes Crissy's exceptional commitment to student safety and excellence in school transportation.

The best part? The award was a complete surprise! Crissy had no idea she had even been nominated, making the presentation an unforgettable moment!

Since joining Galway in 2005, Crissy has been a champion for safe student transportation. As our Safety Coordinator and School Bus Driver Instructor, she has built an outstanding training program for our drivers while serving as a resource for transportation departments across New York State.

Congratulations, Crissy, on this incredible and well-deserved honor! Thank you for everything you do to keep our students safe every day.
