Last night at our Board of Education meeting, we took a moment to honor and thank our incredible school board members for School Board Recognition Week! Thank you for your dedication, hard work, and commitment to the Galway Central School District community.

A special thank you to Ms. Levine and her floral design class for the beautiful arrangements, our elementary students for their thoughtful cards, and Ms. Mierzwaโ€™s art classes for the wonderful painted pumpkins!

We are grateful for all you do to help our Golden Eagles soar!

History came to life for our 7th graders yesterday at Saratoga National Historical Park!

As part of our goal of getting every Galway student to the battlefield this year in honor of America 250, students explored the grounds, learned more about the people and events that shaped our community and country, and experienced history beyond the classroom.

Another great day of learning, exploring, and making memories at the Saratoga Battlefield!

A special thank you to Ranger Bill for engaging with our students and helping make history come to life!

Some of Mr. Sullivanโ€™s English 12 students joined Mrs. Levineโ€™s Wildlife Management and Intro to Agriculture classes for a visit from Environmental Conservation Officer Steven Shaw of the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.

Officer Shaw shared what itโ€™s like to work as an ECO, including the job responsibilities, requirements, and benefits of the profession. A great opportunity for our students to learn more about careers connected to the outdoors and environmental conservation!

Our 11th and 12th graders had a great day visiting Saratoga National Historical Park!

As part of our America 250 celebration, weโ€™re continuing our goal of getting every Galway student to the battlefield this year. The students had a great time exploring and learning, and we just managed to beat the rain!

We canโ€™t wait for our other students to make their trips to the battlefield throughout the year!
