Join the GSBS Writing Studio for a virtual career seminar presented by Dr. Alexus Acton, Clinical Research Associate at Medpace.

Dr. Acton will discuss her career path, day-to-day responsibilities of Clinical Research Associates, and advice for trainees interested in clinical research and industry-facing scientific roles. She will also share information about opportunities for trainees interested in pursuing Clinical Research Associate roles at Medpace.

The GSBS is excited to announce the new Jeane B. Kempner fellows for the 2026-27 academic year.

The Jeane B. Kempner Fellowship was established in the will of Daniel W. Kempner, for the purpose of giving financial aid to exceptionally brilliant students attending UTMB, to assist and encourage them in pursuing advanced studies.
