One of our MD/PhD students, Jack Tiller, recently published a commentary on the impact of sleep habits on brain health in the Galveston County Daily News. It is exciting to see our students share their knowledge of science and medicine with the public!

Some interests stay with you, even as your path changes.

Before becoming a neuroscience MD/PhD student at JSSOM, Jack Tiller was a student journalist. Today, he brings that same curiosity and storytelling perspective to his medical training.

His recent guest commentary in The Daily News explores how sleep habits can affect brain health, sharing neuroscience insights with the Galveston community in a way that connects research with everyday life.
