Austin Middle was one of two schools to receive a Top Gold Ribbon and ranked as the 1st Place Gold Ribbon Middle School Campus!

“I am very honored to receive this distinguished Award on behalf of Austin Middle School scholars,staff-and GISD,” said Austin Middle School Principal Frank Brown. PTO Free Dress Tomorrow - No Halloween Costumes- Halloween Shirts are allowed

Students will have a PTO free dress for $1.00 tomorrow. No Halloween Costumes will be allowed. Students may wear a Halloween shirt. No face coverings. We want to avoid a many distractions to the learning environment as possible.

Parents: due to the fire across the way at Denny's many of the streets are blocked. We are having to adjust our dismissal.

Parents will need to pick up car riders on 16th St and bus riders will be picked up on M 1/2 St. Thank you in advance as we make this ​adjustment for today.

RED RIBBON WEEK COMING UP NEXT WEEK!

We are excited to announce Math Tutorials/Open Gym on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The first hour will be spent in math tutorials and the second hour in open gym. Snacks and drinks will be provided! We hope to see our scholars on Saturday!
