For all my band friends - this is so accurate! I have specific instrumentalists/people l in mind for every single section!

MARCHING BAND PREPPING FOR BAND CAMP IN 2020:

Flutes: hand-makes masks for everyone in section, color-coordinated to match section shirts

Clarinets: buys cheap masks for everyone in section, but the section leaders get really cool ones

Saxes: make their own out of cardboard

Horns: 3D printed ergonomic face shields with specially designed mouthpiece fixtures...and full hazmat suits

Trumpets: still haven't finished complaining about having to wear a mask

Trombones: masks made out of bread, cake, and other edible items so they can snack during rehearsal

Euphoniums: cellophane masks so they can watch the saliva build up

Tubas: spent weeks trying to build a suit that would cover them and their tuba completely. Much duct-tape involved. Section leader leaves them all at home.

Percussionists: "........what's going on? what's the deal with this mask stuff?"

Color Guard: fundraising for the required purchase of 7 $100 sports masks from Danskin in different colors for each day of the week

Drum Majors: wearing a Darth Vader helmet they got last year for their birthday

Band Directors: just live on top of the press-box with their Starbucks, but students only hear a voice through the speaker and have begun to question whether the director still has a material form

Band Parents: conflicted between building a machine that can sanitize all the props at once, or relaxing at home in peace and quiet for the first time since March
