Please help us in welcoming Jacob Moran, our newest Public Health Mentor, to the Schweitzer team! As a Fellow for Life himself, he is "looking forward to being able to connect with the current cohort of fellows, especially those in Galveston. There are many innovative programs being facilitated through UTMB's Office of Community Engagement and Education that overlap with the Fellows' projects, and I'm excited to see how their efforts will be fruitful and hopefully sustained through integration into the school's curriculum."

WAY TO GO...
We are proud to share our official 2021 NCLEX pass rate for first-time test takers is 98.43%!
These results are extraordinary, especially as these students' nursing education occurred during the peak of the pandemic - with many students completing labs, simulation, and didactic portions virtually. However, our high-quality education continued even as delivery modes shifted!
We recognize and celebrate the faculty, staff, and now alumni for this terrific achievement. This result demonstrates their commitment to preserving UTMB’s standards of excellence. Congratulations to all our new nurses!
