Our Burnet Pirates set sail on their FIRST FIELD TRIP to Galveston Children's Museum with Powerful Learning Innovators! 🏴‍☠️💙💛

Our little pirates had the BEST time exploring, creating, imagining, and playing, and learning through hands-on experiences! 🧩🎨🧑‍🍳🚒✨

We loved watching our Pre-K Pirates explore new spaces, try new things, and make memories together! 💙

✨ Three Weeks of Learning & Growing! ✨

Can you believe it’s already been 3 weeks of school?! 🥰 Our little learners have been busy learning, growing, and becoming more independent every single day!

In just three short weeks, we have learned so much! 📚✏️
We’ve been learning our classroom rules and routines, how to be good friends, how to take care of our classroom, and how to be responsible learners. ❤️

We are learning to write our names, hold our pencils correctly, and use scissors safely ✂️. We’ve been practicing listening, following directions, taking turns, and working together.

Our mathematicians have been learning how to read and create graphs, count, compare, and share what we notice from our data. 📊🔢

And, of course, we’ve been singing, creating, exploring, and having LOTS of fun along the way! 🎨📖🎶

Three weeks may not seem like a long time, but these little minds have already grown SO much! 🌱💗 I am incredibly proud of their hard work, their willingness to learn, and the progress they are making each day.

Three weeks down… and SO much more learning ahead! 🥳📚✏️

This week, our Burnet Pirates set sail on a 5 Senses Adventure! 👀👂👃👅🖐️

🌱 We explored our garden and used our senses to discover the world around us!
🫧 We had a blast playing with bubbles and watching them float, pop, and sparkle!
🍓🍅 We explored strawberries and tomatoes and used our senses to investigate them!
⭕ We practiced voting!
🔴 We also had lots of fun learning about the color RED and the shape CIRCLE! ❤️

As the school year comes to a close, we want to thank you for entrusting us with your precious children each day. It has been such a joy to watch them learn, grow, and make wonderful memories throughout the year.

Thank you as well for your support, kindness, and willingness to volunteer and help our classroom in so many ways. Your partnership means so much and truly makes a difference.
