Rainy morning fun for The Campers ❤️

Last week our Dinosaurs roamed over to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch and a ride. They had such a great time together. They got to walk with their grown up and enjoy time together outside the classroom. (Thanks to our chaperones for joining us.)

Extra special thanks to Hannah for making the time to join this special field trip. The Dinosaurs absolutely loved seeing her again and spending some extra time with her, Alexander and Alice. 💚🦖🦕

While everyone else is stressing over a possible Tropical Storm these babies have zero worries in the world and smiles that can brighten the entire island. We’re pretty biased and think our babies are the cutest in town. Wouldn’t you agree?

Back from her family time, TODAY we get to celebrate Ms.Mary. She celebrated her birthday on Friday and got to take several days off to enjoy her Alabama family’s visit. Help us wish her a very HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY!

Cheers to you Ms.Mary! 🎉🥳🎁🎊 Thank you for all that you do for the staff, children and families. We appreciate you and hope your new year is bigger and brighter than Donny Osmond’s smile.

Last week our Dinosaur Class not only graduated from Pre K-4, but they got to celebrate the day with a special visitor.

Back in March, Hannah promised her Dinos and their families that she’d be back for graduation. She held on to that promise and drove in from Alabama to make sure she presented each of the children with their diploma. The class was beyond excited to see her and the classroom was filled with happy screams, giggles and lots of love.

Even though she moved hundreds of miles away, she didn’t forget the kids who couldn’t forget her. Over the past few months she kept in touch and even helped them prepare their song and graduation expectations over FaceTime calls.

Hannah, if there was an award for most dedicated teacher, it would definitely go to you. Thank you for making this graduation such a special one.

🌞🍧🐒 What a great way to welcome Splash Day Fridays than with a special treat from Funky Munky Shaved Ice Galveston. Thanks to The Hamilton family for spoiling our teachers today.

It’s Graduation day 🎓
This day is always such a bittersweet occasion. It’s the end of a chapter but also the start of a brand new one filled with many adventures in elementary school. So exciting!!! Our Pre-K4 kids are excited for this evening and their special party too. (They’ll even get a special visitor to hand them their diplomas.)

Thanks to the Galveston Beach Patrol for sending one of their lifeguards over today to teach our Preschoolers all about water safety. Our Pre K-3, Bridge and Pre K-4 kids had lots of stories for her that included jellyfish stings, sharks and big waves. We appreciate our Beach Patrol and all of the hard work they do to keep our beaches safe.

The Dinosaur Class had a busy morning. They practiced their song for their big day on Friday and also made special cookies using what other than a dinosaur footprint. It’s a busy week for them and time just isn’t slowing down.

You may have seen some new faces recently. We’re happy to officially welcome Sherlyn, Araceli and Luisa to our ChilCo family. These three ladies are genuine rockstars and we’re so excited to introduce them:

⭐️Sherlyn spends most of her time helping out in the Pre K-4 class as well as Pre K-3, Bridge and with our toddlers.

⭐️ Araceli is quite the baby whisperer and is often loving on our babies in the infant room and wherever else she is needed. She brings her smiling face and heart full of love for children wherever she goes.

⭐️ Luisa just completed her first week and was loved and accepted by every class she’s helped out in.

We’re so glad to have such a great group of dedicated teachers. ❤️
