Hybrid Lab Weekend = learning in motion
From transfer practice to standardized assessments and functional mobility, students spent the weekend sharpening the skills they’ll use every day in practice. Hands-on, collaborative, and clinician-focused. We are proud of our future OTs!

Our students trialed a variety of wheelchairs while learning how proper seating and mobility can transform function, comfort, and participation. From positioning to propulsion, curb navigation to the selection process, they applied clinical reasoning to find the right fit. The right chair is never one size fits all.
Future Assistive Technology Professionals? We think so. This is the power and possibility of OT!

Our hybrid cohort in Laredo spent lab strengthening clinical skills and building confidence as they prepare for their very first Level I fieldwork experience. Every detail matters in practice, including the reminder that even when hands look clean, the lab light has the final say.
Clean hands, growing skills, and future practitioners in the making.

From Problem to Progress! 🌳✨
Our 2nd-year OT students are officially diving into their Capstone journey! They kicked things off by developing “problem trees”—identifying critical issues, mapping out root causes, and analyzing consequences for specific populations.
Using their Occupational Therapy lens, they’ve brainstormed sustainable programs designed to make a real impact. Next stop? Collaborating with our incredible community partners across the country to bring these visions to life.
We can’t wait to see the difference these future OTs make!
