🧡 Ms. Marsh’s class had fun learning all about orange! Their shape of the week was the square, and their number was two.

Students practiced important math skills through hands-on activities, including building orange squares and the number two with Play-Doh and creating orange square art. They also combined art, math, and literacy by creating their own “Book of Orange” to take home, read, and continue learning with their families! 🟧📖

⚾️🧡This past Friday, we had the opportunity to enjoy an Astros game in celebration of the hard work, dedication, and GROWTH happening at Burnet Elementary! 📈💙

A huge thank you to Mr. Brown for treating us to such a fun and memorable evening. It was wonderful getting to celebrate together outside of school and enjoy some well-deserved fun!

So proud of our Burnet family and all that we continue to accomplish together! 💙🏴‍☠️⚾️

Thanks to SMART Family Literacy , our students visited the garden, listened to an amazing story, and took home free books! We are so grateful for this wonderful organization and its partnership with our school to promote a love of reading! 📚🌱💙

Ms. Salazar’s 2nd grade mathematicians practiced measuring objects in meters using meter sticks! 📏🔎 They worked together to measure, compare lengths, and share what they discovered during our Bluebonnet Math lesson. 🧮💙
