With it being National Police Week, the Galveston ISD Police Department would like to extend a big thank you to Gringo's Texas City for catering lunch yesterday! We appreciate y’all and the food was delicious!

Today, the Galveston ISD PD hosted a Thanksgiving lunch, and by golly was the food delicious! Thanks to all that came out and enjoyed the feast. We would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Before this week comes to a close, we would like to give a special thanks to our amazing security guards! They play a vital role in keeping our schools safe and secured. We could not function without y’all. Happy National Security Officer Appreciation Week!

Never forget the Santa Fe 10💚💛

Today marks 7 years since the tragic shooting at Santa Fe High School on May 18, 2018—a day that forever changed the lives of so many in our community. We pause to honor the lives lost, the families impacted, and the resilience of the Santa Fe community.

We especially want to recognize and thank our brave members who responded to the scene without hesitation, running toward danger with unwavering courage. Your actions that day were nothing short of heroic, and we are proud to stand beside you.

You remind us of the true meaning of service and sacrifice.

We are continuing to celebrate National Police Week here at the GISD Police Department! Today the department was treated with some delicious Bronco Burritos.
