Happening tomorrow- Farm in the Park, Tues. Aug 4, 11 am - 1 pm. Bring your family for a fun FREE day exploring agriculture, horticulture, and healthy living with Illinois Extension. Come to Veteran's Park in downtown Galva (across from our Henry/Stark Extension office). We'll have a variety of interactive games, crafts, information, handouts, prizes, and more.

Applications to make a difference at the Illinois State Fair close July 9th!

Illinois 4-H is proud to partner with the Illinois Department of Agriculture and Special Olympics Illinois to host the Sunflower Showmanship Contest on Saturday, Aug. 15.

We're looking for volunteers to help make this unforgettable experience possible by:

• Mentoring Special Olympics athletes
• Assisting during the event
• Providing lambs for participants to exhibit

This opportunity is open to youth ages 14 and older and adults. If you'd like to be part of this meaningful event, check out the volunteer signup to learn more and get involved: go.illinois.edu/SunflowerShow

The Club of 3 beef exhibit deserves its own post!!

We had so much fun watching the kids come together at the end of the beef show to put their calves together and have a little fun in the show ring!!
