Six Directions Indigenous School A place for news and updates about Six Directions Indigenous School, a public charter school in Gallup, NM committed to culturally responsive education.

Six Directions is a new and innovative open-enrollment public charter school in Gallup, New Mexico. We opened in response to a desire for culturally responsive schooling in our context as a border town to the Navajo Nation and Zuni Pueblo. After a nearly two-year approval process, we opened with 6th and 7th grades in fall 2016 and will continue to grow by one grade each year until we are a full 6th through 12th grade middle and high school in Gallup.
