Jaclyn Salerno '20 brought her expertise from dancing with the Radio City Rockettes to Stockton's dance studio this summer. The alumna joined other dance graduates to teach during a week-long dance intensive for local youth that concluded with the dancers performing a piece choreographed by Caitlin Pittenger, Jules Bolish and Jackson O’Brien.

For the third consecutive year, Stockton University’s Southern Regional Institute and Educational Technology Training Center (SRI & ETTC) has received funding from the New Jersey Department of Education to support climate change education.
This year’s $650,000 grant brings total funding for the initiative to $1.9 million and supports the Climate Change Learning Collaborative, which provides free resources and professional learning opportunities for K-12 educators across eight South Jersey counties.
These photos capture teachers participating in hands-on learning experiences at the Community Garden at Fishermen’s Park in Atlantic City and on a guided kayak trip exploring the effects of climate change on the Delaware River watershed.

More than 40 Tech Trek campers stayed on the campus last week to study science in the lab and on the beach. The eighth-grade girls found colorful coquina clams and mole crabs along the shoreline, picking up plastic litter on the beach, made their own slime and boba tea, learned how to collect forensic evidence and more.

This is what Stockton-maxxing in the summer looks like. M Sky is a Visual Arts major with a concentration in K-12 education and a Disabilities Studies minor. She draws inspiration for her art from skating and surfing and is choosing to pursue art therapy to help others heal from trauma.
