#Marines with Headquarters Marine Corps participated in a motivational run with Gen. Christopher Mahoney, the Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps, and Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Carlos Ruiz in honor of the Marine Corps’ 248th birthday. Celebrating our birthday is a time-honored tradition that connects Marines serving in our ranks today to those who came before us. In the words of Gen. Mahoney, “the only difference between the six men immortalized in the Iwo Jima memorial and you, right now, is that you’re wearing PT clothes.” Semper Fidelis and Happy Birthday, Marines.

The 2023-2024 e-Board members are thrilled to announce that the Student Veteran Organization (SVO) has officially been renamed as Military Affiliated Students of Stockton (MASS)!✨ This change was made to better reflect the diverse and inclusive nature of our organization, as we aim to focus not only on student veterans, but also those who are active duty members, national guards, reservists, dependents and/or anyone who wants to support our club. 🎖️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 MASS is still a chapter of Student Veterans of America (SVA).

We believe it is crucial to embrace and support all individuals who have served in any capacity, and our new name signifies our commitment to fostering a sense of belonging, camaraderie, and unity among military affiliated students at Stockton University. 🤝❤️ It's important to note that MASS stands firmly against expressions of superiority. We strive to create an environment that is welcoming, respectful, and free of any discrimination. 🚫💔 Whether you have served for one year or more, from active duty service members to military spouses and caregivers, we value your unique experiences and perspectives, and we're excited to have you join our vibrant community!
