Some people leave a mark on the world that words can hardly capture, and Mrs. Lisa Wilson was one of those extraordinary people.

Mrs. Wilson devoted her life to teaching, encouraging, loving, and caring for children. She did far more than teach lessons from a book, she touched hearts, built confidence, and made a lasting difference in the lives of generations of students.

Her smile was truly one of a kind. It was warm, genuine, and infectious. She had a gift for brightening every room simply by being in it, and that beautiful smile is something so many of us will carry in our hearts forever.

As deeply as Mrs. Wilson loved her students, she loved her family beyond measure and was incredibly proud of them. She was also a cherished part of the Green Elementary family, where she spent more than 32 years teaching and touching the lives of countless students and families. She shared in the life of our school community alongside her husband, Mr. Brett Wilson, during his time as our principal. Her presence brought warmth, kindness, and joy to Green Elementary, and her absence will be deeply felt by everyone who knew and loved her.

Our hearts ache for Mr. Wilson, her children, her grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her. We are heartbroken that she is gone, yet deeply grateful for the privilege of knowing Lisa and for the memories that made her so special.

More than 32 years of teaching. A lifetime of loving. A smile that brightened countless days. More lives touched than she could ever have imagined.

Mrs. Wilson, you will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Your kindness, your beautiful smile, and your generous spirit will live on in the hearts of all those you touched.

As we remember Mrs. Wilson and the beautiful life she lived, we ask that you continue to keep Mr. Wilson, her children, and family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. May they find comfort in the love surrounding them, in the memories they hold close, and in the lasting legacy of love Lisa leaves behind.

State Soils
Congratulations to the Urban team for placing 2nd out of 50 teams at the state contest held in Ross County this past Saturday!! Team members are Lane Shaffer, Gracyn Clark, Mallory Petro, and McKinsey Mitchell. Lane was the high scoring individual on the team at 3rd out of 165 students; followed by Gracyn at 4th out of 165.

The team will advance to the National Land Judging Contest in Oklahoma in May.
Great job everyone!!

State Champions!!
Congratulations to the Agricultural Soils judging team for placing 1st out of 50 teams at the state contest held in Ross County this past Saturday!! Team members are Raegan Cremeans, Bella Roe, Heath Champlin, and David Champlin. Heath was the high scoring individual on the team 2nd out of 177 individuals; followed by David at 3rd overall; Bella also finished in the top ten at 8th overall.
Very proud of this group, outstanding job!!

The team will advance to the National Land Judging Contest in Oklahoma this May.

🎄❤️ Gallia County Community Christmas Project ❤️🎄

Applications for the Gallia County Community Christmas Project will be sent home with students tomorrow, October 8, during Care Group.

If your family is in need of assistance this Christmas, you can apply for the program by visiting https://galliacountyoh.gov.

📅 Applications are due to Nurse Taylar by October 26, 2026.
