🎨 Process Art vs. Product Art 🎨

In early childhood, the process is often more important than the final product! Process art allows children to explore, create, experiment, and express themselves freely without focusing on a specific outcome. Product art follows step-by-step directions to create a finished piece that looks a certain way.

Both have value, but process art helps build creativity, problem-solving skills, confidence, and a love of learning. Sometimes the paint covered hands, creative choices and joyful exploration are the real masterpieces!

We love that children are given the opportunity to attend, engage and follow direction in product art but for us the real magic happens in the mess. It’s always so much fun to see what these little hands can come up with.
