Today marks ONE YEAR since I made my very first order. 🥹🤍
It was a candy bouquet I made for a family member! Nothing fancy, just me trying something new and wondering where it might lead.
I was only about a month and a half postpartum, a brand new first time mom, and experiencing the biggest transition of my life. I had gone from working to staying home, navigating all the newmom emotions and hormones, and somewhere in the middle of all of that, I decided… I want to start a business. I want to create.
That first candy bouquet was the beginning of something I had no idea would become The Creative Mama Co.
I didn’t officially launch until about three months later. Those months were filled with planning, learning, creating, second-guessing myself, and dreaming about what this little business could become.
And now, a year later, I look back at that very first order and feel so incredibly proud of how far I’ve come. From one candy bouquet made at home to so many handmade creations, craft shows, custom orders, new products, and so many people who have supported my little dream.
This business started during a season of huge change in my life, and I think that’s what makes it so special to me. It truly grew alongside me as I grew into motherhood.
One year ago, I made one candy bouquet.
Today, I have a business I’m proud to call mine. 🥹✨
