It has been a while since we shared an update on restoration progress, and we are excited to say that great things are happening!
Thanks to the generosity of so many donors, the Cairo Improvement Club has been hard at work on several improvement projects. One major project has been in the works, and we can’t wait to share more details with you very soon.
We’d like to give a special thank you to Steven Wilkerson of Robertson County for his generous donation of composite wood. Because of his support, we now have the materials needed to restore the accessibility ramp at the back of the school and the front steps.
Now we just need a skilled carpenter willing to donate their time and talent to help bring this project to life. If you or someone you know can help, please comment below or send us a message.
We are also still accepting monetary donations to support ongoing restoration efforts. Thank you for continuing to support and preserve this special of Sumner County History ! https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/WVAFP7X3GJS2G
