Our fourth-grade Bison brought their learning to life through an exciting Quarter 1 Project-Based Learning (PBL) experience! 🫀❤️

Fourth grade is currently studying “A Great Heart” in our curriculum, where students explore the essential question, “What does it mean to have a great heart, literally and figuratively?” Their learning builds knowledge about the human heart, how it functions, and the importance of heart health. Our teachers have intentionally extended that learning through a standards-aligned PBL experience.

We are so thankful for our partnership with Station Camp High School! Today, SCHS HOSA joined us at SCE to help bring our fourth graders’ learning to LIFE! Our students participated in hands-on learning, including practicing CPR skills, while making meaningful connections between what they are learning in the classroom and real-world health and medical careers.

We also want to give a HUGE thank you to Nurse Rachel and Nurse Amber for sharing their expertise and helping our students learn about heart health and lifesaving skills. We love when our own SCE family gets to be part of the learning! ❤️

Good luck to our Station Camp High School football team as they take on Springfield High School at home tonight at 7:00 P.M.🏈

We were thrilled to welcome members of the SCHS football team to SCE today for Bison Up!

Today’s conversation focused on responsibility! Responsibility is one of the expectations we work to instill in our Bison each day. Our high school Bison talked with students about what responsibility looks like at home, at school, on the football field, and in everyday life. They shared some of the responsibilities they have as high school students and student-athletes and encouraged our younger Bison to make responsible choices each day.

📚✨ The Book Fair is Coming to SCE! ✨The Book Fair will be open for families to shop during Parent-Teacher Conference Day on Monday, September 21, from 1:00–6:00 PM!

Students will also have opportunities to shop during the school week. 📖
