Life Skills morning! We worked on folding towels and rags and then placing them in the drawer.
We followed that up with a new fine motor activity. Shark bite 🦈 They had fun with this one.

Parents and caregivers of our young friends, make your date night plans now!!

Teen Night, for school aged kids 13-22, will be next Saturday, September 19! Brenda and her volunteers always plan for a fun night of pizza, crafts, karaoke, and lots of laughter!

Contact Brenda by Friday, September 18 to ensure your teen has a spot! You can email [email protected] with subject line TEEN NIGHT. If this is your first visit, there will be a short form to complete.

5 hours of respite care and fun for only $30!! Don't wait until the last minute to sign up as there are only 15 spaces available!

Seeking volunteers!

We are growing and could use an extra set of hands in our day program one or two days a week! Background check and a little training is required by the state. This could become a part time, paid position for the right person.

We are also looking for volunteers that enjoy sharing their skills and talents. Do you craft, play music, or enjoy reading a story to a captive audience? These are just a few of the ideas we know our friends would enjoy. What are your hobbies? We are seeking volunteers to come in once or twice a month to share their time and talents with us.

Today we made chocolate dipped bananas 🍌 then put them in the freezer for snack. Everyone seemed to enjoy their snack. We had fun welcoming a new friend today.

Is this the first year your adult kiddo hasn't returned back to school? Are they 21 and starting their last year of school? Navigating the adult side of things can be overwhelming! You have to figure out your new life, new routines, find things to do to keep them busy. We get it and we can help!

It is so important that your child has more to life than sitting at home on electronics. They need to continue practicing and using skills they have learned, or they may regress. This includes social skills.

With our flexible scheduling options, we are able to work with families to establish the days and times that work best for everyone. Maybe they love big groups and lots of activities and would want to come on a busier day. Maybe they would benefit more from being in smaller groups where they can receive more 1:1 attention. The choice is YOURS. We absolutely accommodate your schedule when at all possible.
