Great news out of the 2025-2026 Middle Tennessee High School Sports Ceremony tonight!

Congratulations to Ryan Hendon, who officially took home the title of Middle Tennessee Soccer Player of the Year! From controlling the midfield to leading the attack, you showed everyone what it means to charge the storm this year. Congratulations on an unforgettable season and a well-deserved Player of the Year!

The celebration doesn't stop there—the mastermind behind it all was recognized too!

A huge congratulations to Coach Jeremy Cooke for winning the Boys Team Middle Tennessee Coach of the Year! Thank you, Coach, for your endless dedication, leadership, and for guiding this team to greatness.

We are so incredibly proud of how both of you represented our school and community on the big stage tonight. Congratulations!

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of one of our own, Cole Harris, from the Class of 2025. To know Cole was to know pure light, talent, and selflessness.

He excelled as a brilliant student, captivated us on stage as a gifted actor, and was the ultimate friend who brought joy into every room he walked into. But above all, Cole was defined by his immense courage. Whether he was facing life's biggest challenges or stepping up in a profound act of love to become a bone marrow donor for his sister, he always chose to charge the storm rather than wait for it to pass.

The spark he left behind in our hallways, on our stage, and in our hearts will never fade. We extend our deepest condolences and prayers to his parents, his siblings, and his friends.

Rest in peace, Cole. Thank you for showing us what it means to face the world with bravery and unmatched kindness.
