🔹🔹 Staff Members & Students of the Week 🔹🔹

WEEK OF OCTOBER 5th:

Our Staff Member of the Week for this week was Mrs. April Singleton. Mrs. Singleton is a thoughtful, dependable team player who supports both her students and her colleagues with generosity and care. She strengthens our school community through her steady, collaborative spirit. Her contributions make a meaningful difference every day, and I’m grateful for the support and encouragement she brings to Midland.

Our Students of the Week were Faith & Haley. Faith is incredibly hardworking and kind. She consistently comes to school each day and gives her all to what she is learning. She is a kind friend to others, and she is always working to be better than the day before. She doesn't let challenges fade her smile and her willingness to persevere! She is shining her light and doing what Midland Super Jackets do best, GROWING!

Haley is a joy to have in our school community. She is bright, dependable, and trustworthy, and she approaches her work with care and a consistent determination to do her best. Whether in the classroom or elsewhere at school, Haley treats others with warmth and friendliness, helping everyone feel welcome. Her positive attitude and infectious smile can brighten the day of those around her.

Building conceptual understanding of multiplication is SO important! 🧐

These fifth graders did just that by modeling their multiplicative thinking with base-ten blocks! Can you tell by their facial expressions just how deep they were thinking?!?! 🤯

Way to GROW in math! 💙🩵
