To help keep our students and staff safe, only traditional pedal bicycles are permitted on campus. All student riders must wear a properly fitted helmet.

🚫 E-bikes, scooters, e-scooters, and similar devices are not permitted on campus.

🐯 It’s a BIG Week, Tigers! 🐯

The upcoming week is going to be a busy and exciting one here at Galion City Schools! We’re getting ready to welcome our Tigers back for another great school year. 💙🧡

🏫 OPEN HOUSE
We’ll kick off the week with Open House at all four buildings!

📅 Monday, August 17
• Intermediate School: 4:30–6:30 p.m.
• Middle & High School: 5:00–7:00 p.m.
• Freshman Orientation: 5:30–6:15 p.m.

📅 Tuesday, August 18
• Primary School: 4:00–6:00 p.m.

Be sure to stop in, meet your child’s teacher, see their classroom, and bring along school supplies if you’d like!

🎒 STAGGERED START
Then it’s time to get those backpacks ready!

📅 Wednesday, August 19
Students entering a new building will have their first day:
• PreK
• Kindergarten
• 3rd Grade
• 6th Grade
• 9th Grade

⏰ There will be a 2-hour delay on Wednesday.

📅 Thursday, August 20
🐯 EVERYONE IS BACK!
All students will attend school, and there will be NO DELAY.

We can’t wait to see our Tigers and officially kick off the 2026–27 school year! Let’s make it a great one! 💙🧡
