Get your craft on this Tuesday, August 18th, in the ABOLITION LAB (location change)! Our librarians are hosting a craft corner from 2-4pm. Bring any craft you are working on or come learn a new craft! We'll be demonstrating fly tying, crochet, knitting, and cross stitch.

This is our last event before our wrap-up event on September 14th! Attend to get another entry into the grand prize drawing for the Seymour Library Summer Challenge.

Join us in Seymour Library's Red Room tomorrow from 2-4 for Telling Your Story with Scrapbooking! First, check out a special exhibit of scrapbooks created by Knox students from decades gone by, then create your own scrapbook to fill with your Knox memories!
All supplies for building your scrapbook will be provided, but please feel free to bring any additional photos, decorations, or other materials you want to include in your scrapbook.

You do not want to miss our big Kickoff event on May 19th! Join us in the Abolition Lab from 4-6 pm for a fun-filled event that will send you into the summer challenge with a bang! Seymour Library is partnering with the Galesburg Public Library, Wordsmith Bookshoppe, Student Book Club, and Counseling Services to set you up for success in the summer challenge! Come to get signed up and all the resources you need, then stay to bind a reading journal, have some snacks, and maybe even win our door prize!

Just showing up will get you entered into the drawing for the door prize! The drawing will be taking place at 5:30pm.

How it Works:
Participating is easy and fun! To complete the challenge and earn entries for our grand prize drawing, simply:
- Sign up and instantly snag a free bookmark
- Attend the kickoff event May 19th, 4-6pm in the Ab Lab to start the summer with a bang
- Read books based on our fun prompts
- Attend events throughout the summer to earn even more entries

One lucky winner will take home a goody bag featuring a gift card to Wordsmith Bookshoppe! The drawing will be held on September 14th.
