Scrabble is coming to Knox!

Over Labor Day weekend, Knox will host the Midwest Showdown Scrabble tournament. The tournament will bring close to 60 players from around the world to Galesburg, meaning over 570 Scrabble games will be played in just three days!

Meet Garrett Sprinkle—a Gale Scholar and 2024 Knox grad! At Knox, Garrett pursued music education while also performing in multiple ensembles on campus. He now shares his love of music with the next generation of students as the band and choir director at ROWVA Junior/Senior High School.

Knox College was honored with the opportunity to once again welcome elite high school students from around the world to campus to study astrophysics. Knox is one of 17 colleges hosting the immersive, transformational science immersion experience for high school students.

Check out what the Green Oaks Festival was all about! Participants visited in the Knight Living & Learning Center, enjoyed time in nature, took part in an old time tune learning workshop, and danced the night away at the Spring Barn Dance at the newly renovated Schurr Hall!
