Folio is a juried visual arts journal – created and published bi-annually by students at Knox College, a private liberal arts college founded in 1837, Galesburg, Illinois. Folio is the first student-created visual arts publication open to submissions from all constituencies of the College. Founded and led by students from a variety of disciplines, the journal’s creative staff members support a mis

sion which fosters the opportunities to publish and share creative works, with a focus on the visual arts and design. The Folio visual arts journal reflects a breadth of interests in the visual arts and design, among its students, faculty, staff and alumni – and, importantly, it serves as a record of creation. Spring, 2011 marked the inaugural release of Folio: Volume 1, Issue 1. Since its founding, these additional Folio issues subsequently were published:
Volume 2, Issue 1 (Fall, 2011); Volume 2, Issue 2 (Spring, 2012); Volume 3, Issue 1 (Fall, 2012); and Volume 3, Issue 2 (Spring, 2013). The upcoming Fall, 2013 issue will be published in November, 2013. Folio, is produced with support from the Broadcast, Internet and Publications Board of Knox College, and private donations. The creators of all original works, published by Folio, reserve and maintain their copyrights.

Hello Folio Fans!

Here is the big and exciting news… We have officially started the spring term folio submission drive. If you have cool photography, paintings, sculptures, costumes, drawings or anything that falls into the visual arts category do not hesitate to send them our way.

THE DEADLINE IS THURSDAY MAY 1st 2014 AT 11:59 PM AND PLEASE SEND THEM TO [email protected] OR K-1548
