One Shot Performance Horses in Galesburg, MI, is welcoming new boarders and training horses! 🤎

🌾 BOARDING OPTIONS

• Pasture Board — $375/month
• Full Access Board — $475/month

Both options include hay provided by us, round bales in the pastures, and access to our beautiful riding property. All boarders provide their own grain. Pasture board horses are fed 1x/daily and full access board is grained 2x/daily.

We specialize in helping horses and riders build confidence and work through challenges, with training available for:

• Groundwork & manners
• Desensitizing
• Refresher training
• Trail work
• C**t starting
• Barrel training
• Problem horses

Looking for a smooth, enjoyable gelding to lease? Meet Copper! 🤎

✨ 12-year-old gelding
✨ Approximately 15.3–16 hands
✨ Extremely smooth to ride
✨ Solid walk, trot & canter in the arena
✨ Stands tied
✨ Has been used in lessons

Copper is a great horse for someone looking to build their riding skills and spend more time in the saddle. He is a very comfortable ride and is enjoyable to work with in the arena.

For the arena, I would recommend an advanced beginner (with lessons) or an intermediate rider. On the trails, Copper is best suited for an experienced rider. He enjoys moving out and covering some ground on the trails, and since he hasn’t been consistently trail ridden recently, he would be best matched with someone confident and experienced in that setting.

🏇 On-site lease means you’ll have the opportunity to regularly ride and spend time with Copper right here at One Shot Performance Horses!

Meet Princess Sparkles, a sweet 10hh Paint pony who is available for an onsite lease at One Shot Performance Horses!

We recently acquired Sparkles for our kiddos, and they absolutely LOVE riding her. She is as sweet as can be and would love to have some extra attention, love, and kiddos to keep her busy! 🥰

We’re also interested in partnering with local businesses and events that may be looking to have a pony available for kiddie rides, special events, grand openings, marketing/promotional events, and more! 🎉🐴

🔥 SLOW WORK. BIG RESULTS. 🔥

Two days of barrel drills, ONE full day actually on the barrels, and this 4-year-old girl is already starting to put it all together! 🤩

Watching Stella figure it out, build confidence, and start finding her turns has been SO much fun. This is exactly why we put the slow, consistent work in — and it’s PAYING OFF! 👏🏼

I cannot wait to see this girl in action as she continues to progress. She’s only 4… and I think she’s going to be a FUN one to watch! 🐎💨🔥

❤️ LOOKING FOR A GOOD HOME ❤️

Quest is a 19-year-old OTTB who has been with us for a long time and has been used for beginner lessons, both English and Western.

At this point, we are looking for a good home where he can enjoy retirement and be loved for who he is. We think his arthritis may be catching up with him. He has days and even weeks where he feels good enough to ride, but other days he is sore, so we feel he would be best suited for light riding when he’s feeling good or as a companion/pasture buddy.

He still loves to run and play in the pasture and definitely doesn’t act like a 19-year-old when he’s feeling good.

We are asking a low rehoming fee to help ensure he finds the right home.

We’d love to find him someone who will give him a comfortable, happy life and let him enjoy his retirement.

🐴 ON-SITE LEASE AVAILABLE — MOO🐴

Moo is an 11-year-old Quarter Horse mare, standing around 15hh with a nice, stout build.

She rides walk, trot & canter and has experience being used for both lessons and trail rides. She’s a fun mare to have around and would make a great option for someone looking for a horse to ride regularly while staying on-site.

Moo can be a little “watchy” on the trails and may occasionally jump in place if something catches her attention or looks out of the ordinary. Because of that, I’d recommend an intermediate rider or above who is comfortable and confident in the saddle.

She is available for an on-site lease, giving her lessee the opportunity to ride and enjoy her while having access to the amenities here at the barn.
