🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from GFS/JWL PTO! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate the hard work and dedication of our families, teachers, staff, and community members who help make our schools and community so special. ❤️

We hope you enjoy this long weekend with your families—whether you’re soaking up the last bits of summer, firing up the grill, or simply enjoying a little extra time together!

Wishing our GFS & JWL families a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved Labor Day! 🎉

💙💛 It’s time to join the GFS/JWL PTO for the 2026–2027 school year! 🎉

For just $5 per family, your PTO membership helps support our students, staff, and schools while giving you a voice in the direction of our PTO.

✨ Membership means you can:
✔️ Vote on how PTO funds and activities are used
✔️ Stay informed about school news and events
✔️ Help make a difference at GFS & JWL

And the best part? Your $5 membership fee helps to offset our insurance and administrative expenses, so funds raised through PTO events and fundraisers can go directly back to our students and staff! 🙌

📬 Membership forms went home with students. Return your completed form and payment to school, or use the QR code on the form to pay online.

Want to get more involved? We’d LOVE your help with one of our many committees! 💙💛

We can’t do it without you! 🐾 Please share 🗳️ Link in the comments 👇👇

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS—you survived the first day of the 2026–2027 school year! 🐾📚

When those sweet kiddos walk through the door today, remember: give them a little transition time. 😂

They will tell you how their day went eventually…

Maybe. 😜

Feed them. Hug them. Let them breathe. ❤️

And then, once everyone has re-entered the atmosphere, make those kiddos unpack their backpacks so YOU can complete your grown-up homework—forms, papers, folders and all the things that are due no later than tomorrow-ish! 🤭

Because apparently, parents get homework too. 😉

Welcome back, GFS/JWL families! We hope Day 1 was a great one! 🐾💙
